

April 24th 2010 the Target Center will erupt as UFC and WEC Vet Brock Larson, and former UFC world champion Dave “The Warrior” Menne take center stage. Shana Olsen: A rising star in MMA and a natural born athlete, Shana was built for competition and winning! Shana will be facing one of her biggest test’s as she faces Japan’s Yoko Takahashi, Olsen is extremely excited for such a great opportunity and honored to be able to fight a Pioneer of women’s MMA such as Takahashi. Undefeated Shana Olsen is looking to continue the streak and keep her eye on the prize. This will be an epic showdown as east meets west right here at the target center in Minneapolis.
Yoko Takahashi: In August 1996, Yoko Takahashi became the very first Japanese woman to do a professional MMA bout in the history of sport. Back then Yoko was a pro-wrestler challenging in the MMA, and she came up short on this first fight but she ended up sticking with the “real fight” for all her career and now she is considered as “The Pioneer of the Women’s MMA in Japan.”
One of only two fighters that took current Strikeforce 145 lbs champion Cristian Cyborg, Yoko, made a pro-wrestling debut in 1995 as member of famous All Japan Pro-Wrestling, then moved to another promotion called Jd’ and continued doing both MMA and pro-wrestling, till 2001, but since then she has been focusing on MMA. Yoko also fought in the other discipline, as a part of MMA training, so she is 1-1-1 in pro kick boxing matches and 0-1 in professional boxing match.
And she is the 2005 ADCC Japan trial winner.

Brock Larson: Brock is one of Minnesota and Midwest’s most loved fighters. After coming off two very difficult losses to Brian Foster, Mike Piece and losing his UFC Contract he is out for blood! When Brock heard green called him out this is all he needed to light the fire. It has been 3 long years since Brock has been able to fight in front of his home state and couldn’t be happier about it being at the Target Center. With only 4 loses in his 8 year career Brock is a force to be reckoned with, Beating names such as Mike Pyle, Jesse Sanders, Ryan Jensen, Carlo Prater, and Jon Alesio he is no stranger to pressure and competition. Brian Green: Brian Iowa native Started fighting 7 years ago at 17 with a fake ID, After going 1-4 as an amateur he decided it was time to start training. As his road progressed he started working with UFC Vet Josh “the dentist” Neer. Brian has fought some of the toughest fighters in the world including Nick Thompson, Rob Kimmons, and a Victory over current UFC fighter Nic Lentz (Brock was the referee) Now Brian is ready to once again test his skills against 11 time UFC and WEC vet Brock “Raging Bull” Larson. 19-12-0

Gideon Ray: Gideon has fought some of the toughest fighters in the world such as John Alessio, Mike Swick, David Louisaeu, and Brendan Seguin, Back in 2002 Gideon and Derrick met, they had a 3 round battle and Gideon came up victorious with a Guillotine choke at 2:25 seconds. Gideon is a Veteran of UFC, King Of The Cage, and the IFL. Gideon is prepared to show the world it was no accident he beat Noble.
Derrick Noble: Noble a career fighter with nearly 40 recorded fights starting his MMA Career back in 2000, 10 years ago. Derrick has fought in Hook N Shoot, MFC, Bodog, and is also a UFC Vet. With wins over famed Carlo Prater, Brendan Seguin, Shonie Carter, Jake Ellenberger, and Thiago Alves. Derrick has made his mark on the MMA world. Derrick is ready to get the bitter taste out of his mouth and is coming to show that Gideon doesn’t have what it takes this second time around.

Dave Menne: Menne former UFC world champion has only fought in Minnesota once in the last 5 years. Dave is a force in the fight world and one of the most experienced veterans to ever hit MMA. With well over 60 fights he is no stranger to the cage. Menne has fought the likes of Matt Hughes, Shonie Carter, Phil Baroni, Chris Lytle, and Hayato Sakurai, this is just to name a few. Dave “The Warrior” Menne is in the best shape of his life and ready to show the world he has always been a true champion.
Dave Strasser: Dave Strasser is a world renown fighter, has fought all over the world. Strasser has fought in UFC, Shooto in Japan, Hook n Shoot, M1 Global and Cage Rage in England. This seasoned pro is ready to stake his claim going up against former UFC world champion Dave Menne.
Matt Delanoit 13-8-0 VS Ray Steinbeiss 12-6-0
Matt Delanoit: Matt is an outstanding striker but has fallen on hard times his last 3 out of 4 fights going up against strong wrestlers was tough on Delanoit. Finally Matt gets the chance to go up against another seasoned striker in Ray Steinbeiss. This will be a WAR matt is ready to redeem himself and show the world that he is a next level fighter. 13-8-0
Ray Steinbeiss: Ray is an Arizona native training with some of the toughest fighters at ACS is ready to show his skills. Ray a veteran of the IFL, EVO, and Bodog. He has faced some of the toughest fighters in the world. Being a phenomenal striker he is ready to go to war with Matt. This bout has the potential to be the fight of the night, both of these hungry fighters are looking to move to the top, Matt and Ray have a lot at stake and are looking to add this important victory to their record. 12-6-0
Brad Kohler 11-12-0 VS Travis “The Iron Man” Fulton 212-44-8
Brad Kohler: After five long years, Kohler has decided to come out of retirement. Excited for the opportunity to fight at Target Center, Kohler will square off against Travis Fulton. Kohler and Fulton have a long history as Fulton was Kohler’s very first fight. They had a bare-knuckle war that lasted more than 50 minutes. This was, of course, back in the day before there were time limits and rules in MMA. Kohler went on to fight in the UFC and become a force to be reckoned with. After some health issues and personal difficulties, Kohler will step back into the cage for the first time since 2004. Kohler has said he’s ready and very excited to fight the legendary “Iron Man” once again, and prove he still has what it takes to beat him in the second meeting between these two legends.
Travis Fulton: They don’t call him “The Iron Man” for nothing. With more than 250 recorded fights, Fulton has become a legend in the MMA community. His first recorded fight came back in 1997 against the famed Dave Strasser. Since then, Fulton hasn’t slowed down a bit. He has fought in the UFC, Hook N Shoot, Pancrase, Vale Tudo, King of the Cage, the very first WEC and Rage in the Cage. He holds wins over guys like Joe Riggs and Wes Sims. The list of names on Fulton’s resume is a virtual who’s who in the fight world today. Fulton is ready to come up to Minneapolis and avenge his loss to Kohler back in 1997.
